Grande affresco con Cristo in
croce tra l'Arcangelo
Gabriele, la Vergine dolorosa, S. Giovanni
e la Maddalena.
L'opera è
di
un artista di
tradizione fabrianese e fa parte
di un ciclo votivo che decora
l'interno della chiesa.
S. Paterniano è stata innalzata
sulle rovine di un edificio
precedente del secolo Xlll.
Nella stessa chiesa si
conservano un trittico con
Vergine e Santi attribuito al
Maestro di Domo e affreschi
inizio sec. XVI.

A pochi Km si trova l'Abbazia di S. Urbano (sec. Xll-XIII),
notevole esempio di architettura romanico-gotica.

Large fresco with Christ on the Cross among the Arcangel
Gabriel,
the sorrowful Virgin, St. John and Mary Magdalene.
It was painted
by an artist of the
Fabriano tradition and belongs to a votive cycle
which decorates the internal walls of the church. St. Paterniano was
built on the remains of
an
earlier building ot
the 13th century.
The same church houses a triptych with Virgin and Saints abscribed
to the Master from
Domo and frescoes of the beginning
of the 16th
century. Interesting the frescoed vaults of the church.
