The pharmacy shelves
still contain the original fittings, including some 90 porcelain jars, many of which bear
the mark of the Ginori di Doccia workshop, which dates them back to the latter part of the
19th century. Ten jars are mounted on feet and have pod motifs on their bodies and lids.
The remaining jars are cylindrical with lids and come in four different sizes. |

All of the vases have
gold edging and scrolls in red and gold with black lettering. There are approximately 230
glass bottles of varying sizes, shapes
and colours. Most have gold edging and red and gold labels with black lettering on a white
background. Last but not least are around 40 special medicine packages that date back to
the first decades of this century, an assortment of laboratory instruments. |
